An international forum featuring diverse and timely events on Green and Smart Energy, as well as the Circular Economy, will complement the exhibition duo of Forward Green and Renewable EnergyTech, taking place from March 13-15, 2025, at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Congress Center.
The two exhibitions are organized by TIF-HELEXPO, in collaboration with Energypress.gr, the most visited journalistic news portal on energy.
With the goal of expanding the dialogue on critical issues related to green energy and the circular economy, a series of conference sessions titled “HELEXPO DIALOGUES” will take place as part of the exhibitions, in collaboration with industry stakeholders.
The Green Fund, the Regulatory Authority for Waste, Energy, and Water (RAAEY), the Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association, the Greek-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Energypress.gr, Radio Thessaloniki, and OTA Voice will bring to the HELEXPO DIALOGUES all the major issues related to energy, sustainability, and environmental protection.
Some of the key topics to be discussed include funding mechanisms for circular economy applications, challenges and opportunities in the renewable energy and energy storage sectors, self-production and storage, photovoltaic and battery recycling, as well as energy transition and water management.
At the same time, Forward Green and Renewable EnergyTech will feature a dedicated presentation space (open stage), where exhibitors will conduct corporate presentations. Through talks, presentations, and interactive panels, participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and explore new collaborations in the promotion of green technology and sustainable development.
Furthermore, as part of both exhibitions, TIF-HELEXPO, in collaboration with the Federation of Industries of Greece (SBE), a member of the Enterprise Europe Network, is organizing a B2B matchmaking event in a specially designated space. Companies from the circular economy, green energy, and smart energy sectors will have the opportunity to participate in B2B meetings on Thursday, March 13, and Friday, March 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on the mezzanine level of Pavilion 15.
Additionally, on March 12 and 13, the Federation of Industries of Greece (SBE), with the support of TIF-HELEXPO, will host a working meeting of the Renewable Energy Sector Group and the Sustainability Thematic Group of the Enterprise Europe Network, at the TIF-HELEXPO premises.
This meeting is expected to welcome approximately 100 experts from across Europe, representing chambers of commerce, research organizations, business and industry associations, and development agencies.
As part of the meeting, presentations will be delivered by representatives of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship, and SMEs (DG GROW), as well as the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), focusing on legislative developments promoted by the European Commission.
Additionally, presentations by Greek spin-off companies and business clusters will be held, aiming to foster collaborations between Greek and international enterprises.
The two exhibitions also have a cultural footprint through the Circulart Thessaloniki initiative, which will feature the “RE-CYCLING” art exhibition, showcasing paintings, sculptures, and wall-mounted artworks created from recyclable materials. The participating artists include Antonio Fenili, Barry Feldman, Michalis Garoudis, Ersi Chatzargyris, and Sotiris Chatzipouflis.
Each piece in the “RE-CYCLING” exhibition presents a proposal for repurposed materials, creatively reimagined in an artistic framework and given a new role. The exhibition is curated by Pantelis Tsatsis, Art Director of the Art Thessaloniki International Fair.
