The prospects of the 2nd Renewable EnergyTech, which brings together some of the largest green and smart energy companies, were presented at the 6th Renewable & Storage FORUM, organized in Athens on October 31 and November 1.
The 2nd Renewable EnergyTech will take place from March 13-15, 2025 and it is a collaboration between Energypress.gr, Greece’s leading energy portal, and HELEXPO, co-organizers of Renewable EnergyTech.
Dr. Yannis Angelou, Head of Advertising, Press & Social Media at HELEXPO, discussed the growth of the 2nd Renewable EnergyTech. There was high interest from Forum participants, confirming the attendance of major industry companies at the exhibition.
Key updates for Renewable EnergyTech 2025 include:
- Exhibition Space Increase: From 7,500 sq.m. in 2024 to 10,000 sq.m. in 2025 (33% increase), with two dedicated exhibition halls.
- International Road Show: The event was presented at an energy exhibition in Romania, attracting interest from over 30 companies from Romania, Turkey, China, and Germany. In Madrid, it was showcased at an Enterprise Europe Network sustainability meeting. Next stops include Milan and Budapest for renewable energy-themed sessions of the Enterprise Europe Network.
- 2024 Success Metrics: 100% exhibitor satisfaction with the organizers’ services, 100% achievement in advertising, promotion, and networking goals, 95.6% success in finding new clients in Greece, and 81.8% success in finding new clients abroad. A remarkable 98.2% of exhibitors expressed interest in participating again in 2025.
- Certified Sustainable Event: Renewable EnergyTech adheres to sustainability standards (ISO 20121 + BUREAU VERITAS).
Renewable EnergyTech is held in parallel with Forward Green, which highlights opportunities in the circular economy. The event includes the CIRCULAR-RENEWABLEB2B@FGEXPO RESTECH program for international trade contacts and business meetings, organized by the Greek Association of Industries in collaboration with HELEXPO. In the inaugural event, 150 companies from 18 countries held over 500 B2B meetings.
